MapOn-site services are provided in partnership with hospitals, non-profit agencies, county government and the health department.
The Department of Health Wabasso Site provides:
- Health screenings in partnership with Globe Chek and VNA
- Health education by DOH and in partnership with Healthy Start Coalition
- Access to healthy foods (through the county’s food pantry and DOH's FL Blue grant) for food insecurity
- Referrals to agencies for care
- Applications for financial assistance with utilities, rent, prescriptions and indigent cremation in partnership with Indian River County Human Services
- A place for community gatherings
- Congregate meal site for seniors 5 days a week in partnership with Senior Resources Association
- Treasure Coast Food Bank Food Pantry in partnership with Indian River County Human Services
- Diabetes Prevention Programming
- Senior Fitness Classes in partnership with Indian River Parks and Recreation
- HIV/AIDS Prevention and Testing
- Women Infants and Children (WIC) maternal educational services and assistance including breastfeeding
- Whole Family Health Center Mobile Medical Office
