The Florida Department of Health in Indian River County’s Epidemiology Department provides information, screening and education for sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and other reportable diseases. DOH-Indian River also provides surveillance of reportable diseases in an effort to prevent and control the spread of communicable diseases to protect the health of those in the community.
