Don't Wait Till It's Too Late!

Back to school physicals and immunizations 

The Florida Department of Health in Indian River County (DOH-Indian River) is offering immunizations for K-12 at our Back to School Immunization Clinic on August 8th, 9th, and 10th from 8:00AM to 4:30PM, no appointment necessary.   Please bring your child’s immunization record and parent’s ID with you.  The Back to School Immunization clinic is located at 1900 27th Street, Vero Beach.

If your child requires a school physical or you are not able to make it to one of the Back to School immunization clinics, please call 772-794-7415 to schedule an appointment for a physical and/or childhood immunizations.

“New and transferring students, kindergarten students and those entering seventh grade are required to have immunizations before the first day of school”, Miranda Hawker, Florida Department of Health in Indian River Administrator said. The first day of school in Indian River County is August 13th.

Check with your child’s school to see what paperwork you need for back to school.  Don’t wait until it’s too late!
